Tuesday's 2-0 win at Bury was particularly sweet for both of United's goalscorers.
Jonathan Forte netted his first Blades goal for over eight years, whilst Jamie Murphy claimed his first since arriving from Motherwell last month.
The goals, one in each half, paved the way for United's second away win in the space of four days, following the 2-1 victory at Shrewsbury Town at the weekend.
Forte commented: "Scoring at Bury was a special moment, especially as it was in front of the away end.
"I am delighted to have got on the scoresheet, but importantly we have returned to winning ways with two crucial away victories."
Murphy added: "I am delighted to get the first goal under my belt, but obviously the win was more important. The defender didn't close me down and Ryan (Flynn) was shouting shoot, so that made my mind up!"
