George Long is keen to stack up more clean sheets to aid the Blades quest for promotion.
The 19-year-old stopper was in top form on Tuesday night to ensure United clocked up a fourth consecutive clean sheet following a goalless draw against Leyton Orient at Bramall Lane.
Speaking exclusively on BladesPlayer for the first time, Long commented:
"To keep four clean sheets on the bounce is pleasing.
"We have worked hard defensively after conceding a few sloppy goals in January and now we want a few more shutouts before the end of the season.
"Obviously for a goalkeeper and the defenders not conceding is our job first and foremost, but the team winning is the most important thing.
"The clean sheet is always a collective effort, but for me it was also nice to get another clean sheet against Leyton Orient because that is where I got my break into the team earlier in the season.
"It is always good for me personally to make a save or two, but the less saves I have to make the better it is for the team!"
