Danny Wilson is adding to his striking options by signing Leeds United's Dominic Poleon.
The 19-year-old will join the Blades on loan for the remainder of the season.
His deal will be completed on Saturday morning to enable his 93-day loan to take in the remainder of the campaign. The agreement includes a 24-hour recall after the first month.
Poleon scored twice on loan at Bury earlier in the season, whilst he was on target for Leeds in their victory over Nottingham Forest in September.
Boss Danny Wilson, who confessed that he enquired about the frontman before the January transfer deadline ended, commented: "He is young, raw and unpredictable, but he is quick and offers pace defenders won't like to defend against.
"He can offer us a lot both in terms of starting games and also as an impact substitution from the bench. We need that extra striker and if we are to be successful we need as many strikers available as possible."
