Clough ready for Stevenage test

20 December 2013

Nigel Clough is predicting a 'tough' afternoon for the Blades at Stevenage on Saturday.

But the Blades boss says his side shouldn't fear anyone is League One, after losing just twice in 11 matches.

Speaking ahead of the clash at Lamex Stadium, the Gaffer said: "We are in for another tough test at Stevenage, of that I am sure.

"I am told we weren't at the races there last season and got sent packing with a 4-0 defeat, on their day Stevenage are capable of producing such performances and results.

"But I am more bothered about how we play and what we do, we know what to expect and the lads are prepared for the challenge that will await us.

"Stevenage, under Graham (Westley) have got a certain reputation, but they are better than they are given credit and if we aren't at our best we are in for a testing afternoon, but I am optimistic we are moving in the right direction and long may it continue."

The Gaffer added: "Saturday is the first of four games in quick succession and if we can remain unbeaten over Christmas, picking up a couple of wins in the process, then I will be delighted."
