Set for derby clash

23 August 2013

Sean McGinty is relishing the opportunity to feature is Saturday's derby clash with Bradford City.

Ahead of the game in West Yorkshire, the young defender commented: "It will be a good game and no doubt a big crowd. It is a Yorkshire derby and I am sure our supporters will travel in big numbers.

"Bradford enjoyed a tremendous season last term, which ended in them winning promotion at Wembley.

"They showed last season against Premiership opposition in the League Cup how dangerous they can be and they have scored plenty of goals already this season, too.

"Everyone talks about Nahki Wells, but they have recruited well over the summer and have a lot of good attacking options."

On the Blades fortunes to date, McGinty added: "We are steadily improving and as the Gaffer keeps highlighting that we are still very much a work in progress.

"It will be nice for the supporters if we can get the three points at the weekend, we have trained well this week and go there full of confidence."
