David Weir says it is business as usual for the Blades on Tuesday evening, when Burton Albion provide the opposition in the first round of the Capital One Cup.
Weir has indicated he will make a few changes to fresh up the team that beat Notts County on Friday night, but insists a cup run at this stage of the season won't hinder league progress.
"I will make changes on Tuesday night, but it certainly won't be wholesale changes, we have to be respectful to Burton.
"We can't afford to take our foot off the gas because if we take things for granted we could realistically come unstuck.
"At this stage of the season it is all about building up momentum and Friday night's win was certainly well deserved.
The Gaffer added: "At the moment we are trying to put in place a new strategy in terms of what we want from the players and how we want to play.
"Friday night was a pleasing result, nothing more, nothing less, ultimately we will be judged on results and that win was a step in the right direction.
"The players have bought into what we have asked of them to date and that gives us a better chance of being successful."
