Mark Howard is edging closer to a return to action.
The goalkeeper, out since picking up a thigh problem in October, played 45 minutes of an U21s game on Thursday.
Caretaker boss Chris Morgan watched the game and commented: "Mark has had a lot of time out and it will be a summer of work for him to get on top of things and be ready for next season.
"We want to get him into a position in case he is needed. He played 45 minutes on Thursday and was a little rusty but it will do him good.
"The plan is to keep working on him, the last thing we want to do, with the nature of the injury, is risk him."
Howard made 12 appearance at the start of the season before injuring his thigh in the away fixture at Leyton Orient.
