Heads held high

11 April 2013

Chris Morgan says both Danny Wilson and Frank Barlow can leave Bramall Lane with a huge amount of dignity and their heads held high.

Wilson and Barlow left the club on Wednesday evening and it was confirmed on Thursday that David Unsworth would assist Morgan in taking charge of the first-team for the rest of the season.

The former management duo visited Shirecliffe on Thursday morning to say their goodbyes and wish everyone all the best for the future.

This was something that Morgan appreciated, believing it shows the size of the men that have departed the club, remarking: "Two fantastic men, who I owe everything to, have left this football club and everyone must accept some responsibility. It shows what type of people Danny and Frank are because they have been into the training ground and told us all to go and win promotion and finish the job off.

"Getting the players ready for Saturday is my sole focus at the present time. It is an old cliché but we will take one game at a time and hopefully those positive results will be enough to see us win promotion."
