Confident mood

5 April 2013

Michael Doyle says the Blades are confident ahead of Saturday's trip to play-off contenders Walsall.

United have registered 11 away wins this season and despite acknowledging the size of the task that will await the Blades at the Banks's Stadium, Doyle is optimistic of adding another success to the tally in the West Midlands.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, the Blades skipper said: "Saturday is a massive game and Walsall have been
flying of late.

"They picked up a fantastic result against Coventry on Monday and over Easter collected four points like ourselves.

"It will be a tough game given the number of positive results they have enjoyed at home, but we go there in confident mood given our excellent away form.

"They perhaps are something of a surprise package to many, but we saw when we beat them at Bramall Lane that they were a really good young side.

"They played with 10 men for much of that game, but they showed then they like to get the ball down and play in the right way so we know what it is going to be like at the weekend.

"Walsall will firmly believe they are capable of getting the play-offs, but hopefully we can dent those aspirations."
