Confidence remains

10 April 2013

Ryan Flynn remains confident of promotion but admits the Blades home form, particularly of late, is becoming an issue that must be rectified at the weekend.

Speaking after Tuesday's disappointing 2-0 defeat to Crawley Town, Flynn conceded United's second-half showing lacked urgency but still felt the reversal was harsh on the players and supporters.

He commented: "We were in control of the game, but we didn't get that all-important first goal so ultimately we have been frustrated again.

"We make two slips defensively and get done with the sucker punch.

"There are five games left now, we will take them one at a time, but I think we need to win all five to be sure of automatic promotion.

"We still have time to put things right, but obviously the key to our success in going to be our home results, which have been poor in the last four matches."
