Business as usual

23 April 2013

Chris Morgan insists it will be business as usual for the Blades at Gresty Road on Tuesday evening.

Despite no longer in contention for a top two finish, Morgan is adamant United won't take their foot off the gas in preparation for the play-offs: "We want to finish the season strongly and finish as high as possible.

"Also, we will give Crewe the appropriate respect and take the game seriously, so it wouldn't be right of me to go there and make wholesale changes."

Analysing the threat of the Alex, Morgan added: "Crewe have been in something of a difficult situation of late.

"They did fantastically well to win the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at Wembley and their supporters will have had a great day out.

"Since then their league results haven't been positive and they are sitting comfortably in mid-table and not in danger of getting relegated.

"Crewe are an excellent footballing side and always have been. They are a young and energetic outfit, packed with plenty of endeavour and talent.

"Often we find the opposition raise their game when Sheffield United are in town and I am sure Crewe will want to end a successful campaign with a couple of wins in the league. We will certainly have to be near our best to take all three points."
