Michael Doyle and Ryan Flynn both serve the second game of their three-match bans when the Blades host Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday night.
The suspended duo, along long-term absentee Lecsinel Jean-Francois, are the only three players not available to boss Danny Wilson, who confirmed Chris Porter has returned to full training and is contention for the South Yorkshire derby:
"We have a clean bill of health; hopefully we will be able to welcome Chris Porter back into the squad. He trained with the squad on Monday and we hope he doesn't suffer a reaction."
Meanwhile, Rovers will have a trio of former Blades in their ranks - boss Dean Saunders, along with James Harper and David Cotterill, who scored in their 2-1 win at Colchester at the weekend.
Saunders will be checking on the fitness of striker Billy Paynter ahead of the clash at Bramall Lane.
