Despite serving the final game of his three-match suspension, Michael Doyle will be travelling to Huish Park on Saturday.
The skipper, who signed a new deal on Thursday, is poised to drive down to Somerset alone to watch the Blades take on Yeovil Town, as United look to extend the unbeaten start to League One to eight matches.
On his enforced watching brief, the Irishman commented: "I am normally a decent watcher of matches, but during the last two games I have been like a proper fan, I have been kicking and heading every ball and getting frustrated when the ball isn't dropping our way.
"I am driving down to the game on Saturday morning to support the lads at Yeovil. I know it is a long drive but I want to go and be a part of the squad and hopefully I will be able to celebrate three points with the lads afterwards.
"It would be fantastic to get a win on Saturday, before me and Flynny become available for selection for the Notts County fixture at Bramall Lane."
