LJF edges closer to return

17 September 2012

Lecsinel Jean-Francois is expected to return to full training later this month.

The Haitian international, who impressed in the early part of last season, suffered a serious knee injury against Oldham Athletic in March and has been sidelined since.

Jean-Francois has completed much of rehabilitation in France, but boss Danny Wilson confirmed ahead of Tuesday night's South Yorkshire derby against Doncaster Rovers, that the left-back has returned to Shirecliffe as the Blades look to step up his rehab programme.

Wilson commented: "Lecsinel reported back from France on Monday so hopefully he is edging closer to a return and we are going to up his training programme in the next week or two and integrate him into some competitive action."
