Nick Blackman believes the best is yet to come as the Blades prepare to welcome high-flying Notts County to Bramall Lane.
Ahead of the clash, the striker, who has enjoyed an excellent start to life in South Yorkshire, said: "We're satisfied with our start, but once it clicks we'll be a devastating force. We're getting closer to achieving what we feel we can.
"The more we all work together as a team and longer we spend together, the better we are going to get."
Blackman, who feels the return of Michael Doyle and Ryan Flynn from suspension will boost the squad, is well aware of County's main threats having experienced them first hand:
"It's great to have Michael and Ryan back. Michael is a massive player for us and Ryan has been at Liverpool in the past - you don't do that unless you've got something. We all know what Michael brings to the table and Ryan can score and create goals.
"County have scored goals and they'll want to come forward.
I know they've got some good players because I was with Alan Judge at Blackburn. He's got a very good set-piece delivery and also has an excellent shot from open play."
