Ryan Flynn says the Blades are determined to make Bramall Lane a fortress this season.
The Scottish winger has been impressed with United's best start to a season since 1899/1900 but knows the importance of turning home stalemates into victories:
"We were disappointed to draw with Notts County at Bramall Lane, but the two away victories at Hartlepool United and Leyton Orient have put us right back on track.
"At home our performances have been better than results suggest but we know we have drawn a couple of home games where we should have won. If we had taken all our chances this season we would have won every game comfortably, but keeping clean sheets remains just as important as scoring goals."
United sit third in League One going into the weekend's clash with Oldham Athletic and Flynn believes the best is yet to come:
"As most of the lads will tell you, there is more to come individually and collectively.
"Personally I am delighted to have scored a couple already this season as my goalscoring record was something I really wanted to improve on.
"Our aim is automatic promotion, but it promises to be another tough season and several teams will fancy their chances. At Bramall Lane we need to winning games, we need to make our home patch a fortress."
