Neill pleased to be back

30 October 2012

Neill Collins was delighted to return to the starting line-up and help the Blades register a third consecutive clean sheet in the 1-0 win over Portsmouth.

The defender started his first game since the victory at Hartlepool and was pleased with how United combated the threat posed by Pompey:

"I was pleased to be put back into the team given we had been doing so well, but there wasn't any real pressure on me.

"We have defended well for much of the season, with and without me, so I knew I had to slot straight back in and once again we were really solid as a unit."

The win lifted Danny Wilson's side up to second place in League One and with November on the horizon the Blades are now 15 League One matches undefeated:

"The unbeaten start has been very pleasing, especially by adding more wins to the run in recent weeks.

"Sheffield United never slips under the radar because we are always there to be shot at but we are confident of keeping this run going.
