In-form Orient pose threat

5 October 2012

Danny Wilson expects another stern test when his team face Leyton Orient at the Matchroom Stadium on Saturday.

The O's have won four of their last six matches to sit in mid-table ahead of the weekend but the Blades boss is confident his team can extend the unbeaten start to 11 League One matches.

Speaking about Saturday's clash and the challenge his players face, Wilson commented: "Orient didn't start well but have had some excellent results recently.

"We knew how tough it would be down there last season and were disappointed not to win the game in the circumstances that prevailed. We expect a similar challenge on Saturday.

"They are in top form, but we want our opposition to be feeling confident against us - Notts County were flying before they came to us and we have played them off the park, in my opinion, then they went and lost at home in their next game.

"In contrast at Hartlepool, they weren't in good form but we were put to the sword at times with their style of play. Luckily we nicked a late winner so remain unbeaten and in confident mood.

"On Saturday, Russell (Slade) will make sure he pays us the appropriate respect and, of course, we will do the same."
