Hartlepool v Blades - team news

2 October 2012

Paul Gallagher (hamstring) is Danny Wilson's only injury concern for Tuesday night's trip to Hartlepool United.

The versatile forward, currently on-loan from Leicester City, is rated as a doubt by the Gaffer, who also confirmed Lecsinel Jean-Francois remains a few weeks away from a return to action:

"Paul has got a hamstring strain from the weekend and is doubtful, although at this stage we remain hopeful he will be fit.

"Lecs has been training for the last week or so but, as would expect after so long out, he still looks a bit rusty. We will be patient with him and give him another couple of weeks of training before we think about giving him a run out for the U21s."

Meanwhile, Pools boss Neale Cooper is considering changes after a disappointing weekend defeat at Colchester United.

Simon Walton is expected to return from an ankle injury which kept him out of the trip to the Weston Homes Community Stadium.

Goalkeeper Andy Rafferty remains sidelined with a long-term knee problem.
