Danny Wilson could be left counting the cost of Saturday's victory at Leyton Orient.
Already missing Neill Collins and John Cofie with foot and groin problems respectively, Wilson saw goalkeeper Mark Howard stretchered off in the opening 10 minutes at the Matchroom Stadium with a muscle injury.
Speaking of the enforced reshuffle to his pack, Wilson gave an update on the wounded and praised their replacements:
"Mark (Howard) felt his thigh pop when he kicked the ball, so we are expecting him to be missing for at least a month.
George (Long) didn't get nervous because he had no warning; he just came and slipped straight into the game. He pulled off one great save and didn't put a foot wrong during a very accomplished display; he will only improve with games.
"Neill (Collins) spent two days in hospital with an infection in his foot, but we are hoping to see him return to training this week.
"The changes to the back four were very seamless, Matt (Hill) slipped into the centre and Marcus (Williams) came in and looked strong at left-back. We knew Matt would have to play there at some point and with his experience he isn't going to be phased.
"John (Cofie) felt his groin on Friday so we left him in Sheffield for treatment and we will assess him."
