Nick Blackman says helping the Blades win promotion back to the Championship remains his main focus.
Blackman has impressed since joining United from Blackburn Rovers and netted his 10th goal of the season, from his new right wing position, in Tuesday's six-goal thriller with Crewe Alexandra at Bramall Lane.
On his United career to date and his new position in Danny Wilson's team, Blackman remarked: "I am pleased with what I have achieved since arriving in the summer but I certainly think there is more to come.
"There is always room for improvement so I will keep working hard and giving my all for the team.
"I am delighted to be contributing to the success to date but the club winning promotion is definitely more important than any personal accolades.
"I enjoy running at defenders and I still feel I can score goals by continuing to get in the box from the right.
"In Blackburn's reserve team I played there regularly for a spell last season and as long as I am playing then I am happy.
"I will play where the team needs me, I see myself as a forward but wherever the Gaffer plays me then I will always do my best."
Looking ahead to Saturday's trip to Griffin Park, the 23-year-old concluded: "Brentford are right up there and no doubt it will be another tough away game.
"You can never take anything for granted in this division and we won't be at the weekend."
