Danny Wilson is tipping the Blades will face a very 'determined' Port Vale outfit on Saturday, sparked by the return to Bramall Lane of Micky Adams.
Wilson has sympathy for the man he replaced as Blades boss in May 2011, but the Gaffer is delighted to see Adams showing his capabilities back at Vale Park.
Speaking of the return of United's former boss, Wilson commented: "I think, knowing Micky as I do, he will be very determined, but he is like that about every game.
"He probably thinks he comes here with a point to prove, but it was a tough job he took at the time. The expectation level played a part and ultimately at that time with what he had at his disposal it proved too much.
"Micky was always going to bounce back, though, because he is a very experienced manager, a shrewd one too, who certainly knows how to get the best out of his players."
