Danny Wilson has praised the effect Kevin McDonald has on the Blades; he just wants the midfielder to add goals to his game.
McDonald has played an instrumental part in Wilson's plans since arriving at Bramall Lane at the beginning of last season, but the Gaffer is determined to unlock more undoubted potential in the Scotsman.
After recently revealing he wants more goals from midfield, hence Nick Blackman's switch to the right wing, the Blades boss commented:
"Kevin offers us so much, he has a good a touch as anyone playing outside the Premiership. He has two great feet, his vision is first-class and his work ethic is fantastic.
"The only thing missing from his game is more goals. With the power in his feet he should be shooting more and we keep telling him.
"We will keep banging away at him because if he was to shoot more he would certainly get the rewards, it is just a confidence thing.
"He is so comfortable in possession and that is why he is always looking for that killer pass, but we remain confident he has goals in his locker."
