Danny Wilson insists he will not ring wholesale changes in United's two forthcoming cup clashes within the next week.
The Blades host Port Vale in the FA Cup on Saturday, before heading to Coventry City in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on Tuesday evening.
Some managers use these games as a chance to shuffle their packs, but the Blades boss says it will be business as usual for his players as they look to progress in both competitions.
Speaking ahead of the weekend, Wilson remarked: "The team itself won't change a great deal because of the personnel we have available at present. What we can look at, though, is changing things around in certain smaller areas.
"The nucleus of the team will have a familiar look, we haven't got much flexibility, but where we can we will have to change things around a bit.
"Saturday is an important game, as they all are, so let's get through that and see what happens.
"Potentially there is a big prize and some income at the end of it, so we will put our strongest team out against Port Vale and assess things again ahead of the JPT tie at Coventry."
