Danny Wilson is adamant his team won't rest on their laurels, despite extending the unbeaten start in League One to 16 matches at Swindon Town.
United hit the summit following their stalemate at the County Ground, albeit for only 24 hours, after Tranmere's 2-0 win at Hartlepool on Wednesday night, but Wilson is refusing to get carried away.
The Gaffer is determined to build on this excellent start and insists his players feet must remain grounded if they are to do so:
"We have always been confident in our ability. To be at the top end of the division perhaps sends a message to our rivals psychologically.
"When they see we are still unbeaten they will draw their own conclusions but acknowledge we are a tough nut to crack and difficult to beat.
"Perhaps we have a slight edge in that regard but, as we know ,things can change quickly in football and we will never become complacent."
