Bristol Rovers v Blades - team news

2 November 2012

Danny Wilson is pondering changes ahead of Saturday's FA Cup first round tie against Bristol Rovers, but insists his team will be going all out for the win in the West Country.

The Gaffer has alluded to the fact he may opt to use some of his squad players against the Pirates but remains adamant the Blades will be taking nothing for granted against the League Two outfit.

Shaun Miller is one who could be handed another chance to impress having netted twice in a recent start at Notts County in the Johnstone Paint Trophy.

Dave Kitson (hamstring), Lecsinel Jean-Francois (knee) and Mark Howard (thigh) will all miss the trip to the Memorial Stadium.

For Rovers, Mark McGhee will be without Tom Parkes (suspended) following his recent red card at AFC Wimbledon.

Jim Paterson is expected to retain his place at the heart of the defence, meaning Lee Brown will continue at left-back.

Adam Virgo (knee), Fabian Broghammer (concussion) and Derek Riordan (hamstring) could all be in contention to face the Blades after recovering from their aforementioned injuries.
