Danny Wilson was left to rue missed chances after seeing his team slip to a 2-0 defeat to in-form Brentford at Griffin Park.
First half goals from Clayton Donaldson and Harry Forrester condemned the Blades to their second consecutive away defeat in League One and afterwards Wilson said:
"I thought as the game went on we got stronger and had chances to make it a closer contest.
"That takes nothing away from Brentford, they are very good going forward and have a lot of pace on the counter attack.
"What I will say is we have had more chances than most teams will get at Griffin Park this season.
"We haven't scored though, whether you put that down to poor finishing or great goalkeeping is the question.
"The scoreline shouldn't look as one sided as it does because we certainly had enough opportunities to make the game competitve.
"If we could have got back into the game who knows what would have happened, but their goalkeeper was fantastic and we should have done better in certain situations."
