Blades v Port Vale - team news

30 November 2012

Kevin McDonald (suspension) will miss Saturday's FA Cup tie with Port Vale at Bramall Lane.

Mark Howard (thigh), Dave Kitson (hamstring) and Lecsinel Jean-Francois (knee) will all miss out, whilst Tony McMahon (hamstring) is a doubt.

Darryl Westlake could be the man to replace McMahon, although Marcus Williams would also be hoping for a recall having dropped to the bench at Brentford, following the return of Matt Hill.

David McAllister is another who will hope to feature against the Valiants, with Richard Cresswell and John Cofie also likely to come into consideration for a start.

For the visitors, recent signing Calvin Andrew could make his debut alongside the prolific Tom Pope in attack, although fellow striker Ben Williamson has also been amongst the goals of late in League Two.

Former Blades youngster Kinglsey James is expected to play some part against his previous employers, but defender Clayton McDonald is a major doubt and Liam Chilvers is a cup-tied.
