Blades v Crewe - team news

20 November 2012

Danny Wilson could be afforded the luxury of naming an unchanged starting XI for Tuesday night's League One clash with Crewe Alexandra.

Wilson handed a first start to Shaun Miller in Saturday's impressive 4-1 victory over Stevenage at Bramall Lane and after netting a second-half brace, Miller is likely to retain his place against his former employers.

Dave Kitson (hamstring) is about two weeks away from a return, whilst it is unlikely that Tony McMahon or Matt Hill (both hamstring) will be risked against the Alex.

Mark Howard (thigh) and Lecsinel Jean-Francois (knee) are unlikely to return until Christmas.

For the visitors, defender Kelvin Mellor (knee) remains a doubt after missing Saturday's defeat Shrewsbury Town.

Matt Tootle and Gregor Robertson are expected to continue at right-back and left-back respectively, with forward Max Clayton pushing for a start.
