Collins looks forward

11 December 2012

Neill Collins is predicting an entertaining clash when the Blades welcome League One leaders Tranmere Rovers to the Lane on Saturday.

United's Scottish defender has paid tribute to Tranmere's excellent start and he believes given the experience they have at the helm they are more than capable of lasting the pace in the race for promotion to the Championship.

Looking ahead to the weekend's fixture, Collins commented: "Ronnie (Moore) is vastly experienced and I remember him winning back-to-back promotions at Rotherham, so he certainly knows how to get the best from his players.

"When you have succeeded at this level before you should find it easier to do it again because you know what it takes to finish the job off.

"We drew 1-1 with Tranmere twice last season and both games were hugely competitive - we know they have progressed well from the last season but so have we so it will be an entertaining and interesting game."
