Danny Wilson was content with a point against leaders Tranmere Rovers following the goalless draw at Bramall Lane on Saturday.
In a hard fought contest neither side could find a breakthrough and Wilson felt a lack of composure cost the Blades the chance to snatch all three points which would have seen them leapfrog their opponents.
Speaking afterwards, the Blades boss said: "A point is point but as the home team it is a bit more frustrating that we haven't kicked on and won the game.
"As the second half progressed we got anxious and so did the fans.
"We lost our composure at crucial times when we had some good opportunities, although both teams defending strongly.
"If we could have got the breakthrough perhaps Tranmere would have come at us more, but they hung on to what they had and deserved a point.
"We knew it would be tough because Tranmere are up at the top on merit and you can see why.
"We certainly gave them the respect they deserve, but managed to negate many of their threats going forward."
