Danny Wilson has no new injury problems ahead of Saturday trip to Essex to face Colchester United.
Matt Hill returned to the starting line-up at Coventry City in midweek, replacing Marcus Williams, whilst Ryan Flynn was an unused substitute at the Ricoh Arena . On the make-up of his squad, which also saw Wilson adopt an offensive looking 4-3-3 system against the Sky Blues, the Gaffer commented.
"We come through Tuesday night unscathed, the game was a big positive and we got a couple of the lads involved in the squad again which is good news.
"From our point of view, we want to get better as we go along instead of winning the first six games and not win any of the next twenty.
"There was a contrast in the way our two opponents performed but we came through them both with a four point reward.
"We changed our system to take a look at a few things and I thought we kept the ball really well.
"We didn't just keep it, we created chances too and we should have gone in with a few goals in our favour.
"The 4-3-3 will help breakdown those barriers when teams set out very defensively and you've got to try your options.
"I think we have players at the club to utilise who we didn't have last season and whether it's the formation or personnel that changes it doesn't really matter."
