United's youngsters slipped to a disappointing home defeat against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
At a soggy SteelPhalt Academy, the Blades struggling to get into the game after the visitors went into an early lead. Derek Geary's side did have moments in the contest, but two second-half goals for Forest put the game beyond them.
United had a let off on four minutes, as ANDREW fired a low effort against the post, but three minutes later he beat goalkeeper Kelly to a through ball and slammed home into an empty net.
Forest continued to create the better chances and after initially fumbling a free-kick, Kelly produced an excellent reaction save on the rebound. With half-time approaching, Gaxhia had the Blades best opening of the half, but he was denied by a last-ditch block, having looked likely to capitalise on a poor kick by the goalkeeper.
The second-half started in the worst possible fashion for the Blades, as MIGHTEN converted from the penalty spot, after Weaver had fouled Dekel-Daks, who had hit the post moments earlier.
And with the Blades chasing a route back into the contest, SWAN broke and curled home a third to put the game to bed, although Kelly was at his best to deny Dekel-Daks twice in the remaining.
