Robinson backing Brewster ahead of Anfield return

Having left Anfield himself on a permanent basis in 2014, Jack Robinson is backing Rhian Brewster to be a major success at Bramall Lane in the coming years.

The Liverpool born defender, like Brewster furthered his development with loans away from Merseyside, before joining QPR six years ago and Robinson thinks the striker's character and desire to succeed will see him become a big hit in South Yorkshire.

Speaking ahead of Saturday's clash against Jurgen Klopp's champions, Robinson says football is about making big decisions off the pitch as well as on it sometimes and insists he has always wanted to play regularly at the highest level possible.

Jack O'Connell's season ending injury is likely to give the 27-year-old more opportunities this term and when selected Robinson is determined to evolve into the role in United's back three and repay the faith will have been placed in him by boss Chris Wilder.
