Sheffield United Under 18s bounced back from defeat at Wigan to record another home win against Crewe Alexandra.
The young Blades made hard of things after Angelo Cappello gave them an early lead, but two quickfire goals from substitute Daniel Jebbison secured the points.
United started quickly with William Osula up front particularly lively, while Harvey Cullinan made an important block at the other end to deny Crewe an opener.
Cappello soon struck from close range after Andre Brooks saw an effort deflected into his path, the forward firing high into the roof of the net.
Chances came and went as Cappello headed over, Osula hit the bar and Frankie Maguire saw a powerful effort saved, but Crewe grew into the game as the half wore on and the Blades had Josh Chapman to be thankful for after the goalkeeper made three top saves before half-time.
The second half saw few chances as the Blades failed to build on their momentum while the visitors couldn't test Chapman to the extent they had before the break.
It was left to Jebbison to wrap it up 13 minutes after coming up. Brooks saw an effort come back off the post, Osula stretched to knock the ball back across goal and Jebbison tapped home from on the line.
Five minutes later, after another top Chapman save, Jebbison had his second as he curled home Femi Seriki's pull back from inside the box.
The Blades went searching for a fourth but the game ran out with United walking away with the three points.
