Membership costs per season only £3 per adult / £1.50 juvenile / senior.
The officials have an excellent relationship with the Chairman and Board members, who are always willing to listen when approaches made via the correct procedure.
Supporters' Club members are above general public in ticket allocation list/Discount in Superstore.
Senior Blades
The Sheffield United Senior Blades Club was founded in 1981 for senior citizens sixty years of age and over. The club has progressed considerably with a membership consistently over five hundred. In August 2006 a celebration dinner was held to commemorate our Silver Jubilee. We are indebted to the late George McCabe for his wisdon in suggesting such a club along with the late Derek Dooley MBE who were the co-founders.
The schedule of events for the club is as follows:
Sunday social every fortnight in the Platinum Suite commencing 7.30-10:30pm
Members meet every second Tuesday of the month which takes place inthe Platinum Suite commencing at 12.30pm. This includes a three course meal which members have to book through our Treasurer or Secretary. A speaker or entertainment is arranged for 2.00pm which members can attend if they do not wish to take advantage of the meail. The meeting usually closes at 4.00pm
Two day trips are arranged during the summer months which are very popular.
September involves a bowls tournament which is very well supported.
During December a Christmas Dinner with entertainment is held in the Platinum Suite for members and friends. This is very well attended and enjoyed by all.
The club is indebted to the Board of Directors who give the Senior Blades Club their full support. This is very much appreciated.
