Our fellow Blade, Laura Steel who performed the greasy chip butty song at our open day last week, has released her first debut single "Feedback" - you can download her single at iTunes, Amazon and Play.com now and help a local girl get into the chart.

Already a top 5 club hit, "Feedback" has had some amazing support and press reviews. Star Magazine gave it 4/5 saying "Laura Steel shares P!nk's ability to be an authentic artist."

Laura was born and raised in Sheffield, as a football mad youngster she took part in Tony Currie's football camps but for the last few years her attention has moved to music. She has been compared to everybody from P!nk and Katy Perry to Madonna. A vibrant, animated and electric-coloured performer, she mixes electro/dance, alternative and pop with a huge splash of Yorkshire attitude.

After bursting onto the UK music scene, sharing stages with the likes of Pixie Lott and Diana Vickers, and wowing the crowds at July's sold out Wireless Festival in Hyde Park, Laura has already made a big name for herself on the live circuit. On stage she is a very likeable persona with terrific audience rapport. Highly creative and fiercely dedicated to her craft, Laura writes most of her own material. With her raw, sincere vocals she can move the crowds with ease from a simple ballad to a highly energetic anthemic pop rock tune.
