The Outstanding Business of the Year Award will go to a winner of one of the other award categories and voted for by a separate panel of carefully selected judges.

Paul Reeves, director of business development at the Chamber, said: "As there are more categories available this year than ever before, we have had a fantastic response in the number of entries.

"This has led to a strong short-list being created, with a host of companies from a wide range of sectors, from manufacturing to marketing, being recognised for their work."

Broadcast star Paul Ross will be compere this year's Sheffield Business Awards.

Paul is the older brother of chat show host Jonathan Ross and just as well known for his work behind the cameras as in front of them. He has the experience to be a serious journalist as well as a quick witted celebrity with his current roles as co-presenter of the BBC London 94.9FM's flagship breakfast show and the showbiz correspondent for This Morning.
