As the start of the football season kicks off again, South Yorkshire sports fans are back in the running to win free home game tickets with Hallam FM.
Last year the radio station launched the new promotion 'Big John's Row' which was a huge hit with local football fans and listeners, offering the chance to win front row tickets to all of Sheffield Wednesday's, Sheffield United's and Doncaster Rovers home games.
Emma Wylie, Operations Manager from Sheffield United Comments: "We are delighted that Big Johns Row was such a success last year with hundreds of tickets being given away. We were keen to continue the offering to give more listeners the chance to see the Blades in action. The first tickets this season will be for our home game against Preston North End on Saturday 28th August, then at each home Championship game until the end of the season."
This season Hallam FM have widened the scope of this promotion by partnering up with the Sheffield Steelers too.
Andy Turner, Commercial and Operations Manager for the Steelers said "This is a fantastic opportunity for the Steelers to promote their name to the wider community with the support of South Yorkshire's number one radio station. We hope that this relationship will continue to grow and prove to be equally beneficial to both parties. Working with such a well known and well established radio station will help to introduce new supporters to the Steelers brand and the great game of Ice Hockey."
Alex Caley, Marketing & Promotions Manager for Hallam FM said "As a key part of the South Yorkshire community and as a key stakeholder for the Sheffield 2018 Bid Hallam FM is thrilled to be working in close partnership with our listeners' favourite football clubs and now the Sheffield Steelers too. We're always looking to keep our listeners entertained, so it's great if we can keep them happy by regularly giving away tickets for all their favourite sports games, while still supporting our local clubs at the same time. It was great to work with Doncaster Rovers, Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United last season; we had such a great response from listeners and the clubs so it's great that they are all back on board again."
