Ched's first season at Bramall Lane - after United committed to a £3m package to sign the striker from Manchester City - was interrupted by injury and he will be looking to make more of an impression during in the 2010/11 campaign.
The Welsh international turned down offers from other clubs to become a Unitedite after seeing his path to the first team at Eastlands blocked by a host of expensive signings. As well as starring in City's 2008/09 UEFA Cup campaign, he impressed during a loan spell with Norwich, even scoring the winner against United. He has also scored goals at U19s, U21s and senior level for Wales.
