Kevin Blackwell is looking for a capital return from this weekend's London trip to troubled Crystal Palace and says his squad has everything to play for:
"We are a point off the top six so we are really in the mix at this business end of the season and I am pleased that we are involved.
"I have told the players that we have worked hard to get here and that we should not waste it and throw it away.
"The big key is injuries and it is great that I can look to Saturday and be pretty sure that the same players as last week are available to me.
"We have played pretty well recently and although we made some mistakes in the second-half against Plymouth we have worked on those in training since."
Despite Palace being around the relegation zone Blackwell warns against anyone taking Saturday's challenge lightly:
"Make no mistake, it will be a tough game for us. They have had a bit of a cup run and, without the ten point deduction for going into administration, they would be about 12th so they are very much in a false position in terms of their ability."
With Neil Warnock lured away to QPR earlier this week the Eagles will be led by a new face, although one that had a similar debut against United just a few weeks ago:
"Once again we face the new manager syndrome, that's about four times this season, and Paul Hart will have had thePalace lads in since Wednesday, letting them know what is expected of them.
"When he took over at QPR and they played us first they gave by all accounts their best display, which is understandable.
"We expect them to give us more of a physical battle than normal because they will be fighting for their lives and trying to impress their new boss.
"They have lost something like four of their last six but it is not a relegation battle in the true sense because they were halfway up the table on merit.
"Palace are not a mug side at all but they have been through a lot over the last few months. Those circumstances can galvanise a side and I remember being at Luton in the same situation and we lost one in 19 matches."
The change of manager will affect the way that Palace will play and Blackwell admits that the planning for the fixture has been affected:
"We had been studying Palace videos for a few weeks and worked out who Neil Warnock had available and how they were likely to play.
"Now we are studying videos of when Paul Hart was at QPR to try and work out if there are any likely common denominators that we should be aware of."
