United have no fresh injury worries from Tuesday's game at Preston but Mark Bunn (hand), James Harper (ankle) and Chris Morgan (ribs) are still out, along with long-termer Gary Naysmith.

Left-back Andy Taylor is fit for consideration after recovering from his groin injury.

Bristol City's Nicky Maynard (dead leg), Jamal Campbell-Ryce (calf) and Danny Haynes (illness) are all expected to be sidelined, with Evander Sno (back) and Jamie McAllister (calf) ruled out following injuries picked up at Watford in midweek. Another unnamed player is also rated doubtful due to illness.
