Preston v Blades - team news

Posted on: Tue 09 Feb 2010

Arsenal loanee defender Kyle Bartley is expected to make his debut for the Blades at Preston tonight and Andy Taylor is expected to be available after a groin strain.

James Harper is still sidelined with an ankle problem and goalkeeper Mark Bunn - who damaged a finger on Saturday - seems certain to miss out with Ian Bennett coming in.

Richard Chaplow (groin) and defender Callum Davidson (concussion) will be assessed before Preston manager Darren Ferguson names his team.

Matthew James could make his debut, after agreeing to join on loan from Manchester United, while Paul Parry remains sidelined with a knee problem.
