Plymouth v Blades - team news

Posted on: Fri 04 Dec 2009

The Blades travel down to the rain sodden south coast to face Plymouth Argyle with six players potentially ruled out through injury - but with hopes of naming an unchanged side.

Derek Geary has virtually recovered from a thigh strain but although he will travel may not be risked, but Jonathan Fortune is out after sustaining a grade 2 tear of his hamstring.

Although Gary Naysmith (hamstring) trained on Thursday he will remain sidelined for 2-3 weeks, and Ian Bennett is still out with a damaged thumb.

Henri Camara has had x-rays on his hamstring but it is too soon to consider a return to action, and Kyel Reid has a viral infection.

Icelander Kari Arnason is a major doubt for Argyle owing to a groin strain.
