Argyle form guide

Posted on: Fri 04 Dec 2009

The Blades will be hoping to inflict the Sheffield double over Plymouth and in the process avoid a repeat of last Saturday's shenanigans, which saw Barnsley leave the West Country fuming.

Argyle, who have already lost at home to the Owls, were trailing 4-1 against the Tykes in dreadful conditions when the game was abandoned just before the hour mark.

Before those farcical scenes though, Paul Sturrock's men had won two of their last three matches, including an impressive 1-0 victory against Middlesbrough at The Riverside.

Scoring goals has been Plymouth's main problem this campaign, though, and in total they have only managed to find the net sixteen times in the Championship.

Jamie Mackie has netted four times, whilst on-loan winger Alan Judge and former Barnsley striker Rory Fallon both have three strikes to their names.
