Gaffer's preview

Kevin Blackwell looks at game at Bristol City on Saturday, beginning with the opposition.

They are a side that is very solid and Ashton Gate is always a difficult place to get a result so we know it will be tough.

They got a tousing at West Brom last weekend so I don't think that Gary (Johnson) will have been very happy and he will be looking for his players to give him a response.

It mirrors a few occasions lately when opposition teams have had an extra incentive against us so we have to go there with a similar mindset.

It might not be the game we would have chosen in that regard but I will also be looking at my players to see if they can regain the good away form of the first eighteen months I was here.

The goalkeeping situation

To use two on loan goalkeepers in the squad handicaps our selection options so I might have to go in to the game without a specialist on the bench because we could need an extra outfield player.

'Killa' has stood in before during a game in an emergency but there might also be a case to consider Ryan France. He has played in virtually every position in his career so far so he might have to try goal if we are forced into the situation.

We will have to look at the situation from match to match according to who is fit and how many loan players we can include.
