Tykes form guide

Posted on: Mon 09 Nov 2009

As the Blades try and get their first win in eight attempts at Oakwell on Monday, Barnsley will be looking to build on an encouraging points return during the month of October.

The Tykes beat Ipswich, Doncaster and Peterborough and put in a spirited performance, despite the being on the wrong end of the 2-0 scoreline, against Manchester United in the Carling Cup.

Mark Robins has masterminded a brilliant turnaround at Oakwell since taking over and they are currently level on points with the Blades, who have a superior goal difference.

Adam Hammill has four league goals to his name since joining the Tykes permanently, whilst Maltese striker Daniel Bogdanovic has netted five times in all competitions this term.
