No holds barred

Posted on: Tue 29 Sep 2009

Stephen Quinn admits there will be no love lost between himself and brother Alan, should they both feature for their respective clubs at the Lane on Tuesday night.

"It's always a big occasion for the family but of course they don't have any favourites.

"They just want both of us to do well. We speak all the time and we've been talking a lot before this one, too.

Looking ahead to the possibility of coming up against his older brother, United's scorer at Swansea says it will be business as normal during the game and Stephen won't be afraid to get stuck into Alan, and vice versa:

"We're close but that doesn't mean there is any difficulty in coming up against each other.

"It's not hard to switch off for 90 minutes and then be brothers again afterwards.

"When I was younger, even though Alan was away furthering his own career, the rest of us used to go outside and kick lumps out of each other after tea!"
