Reading form guide

Posted on: Fri 14 Nov 2008

Reading will arrive at the Lane on Saturday oozing confidence after scoring seven goals in their last two matches - and the Royals are currently one place and two points ahead of the Blades.

A Kevin Doyle double, in addition to strikes from Noel Hunt and Kalifa Cisse saw Steve Coppell's men thrash Bristol City 4-1 at Ashton Gate.

The Republic of Ireland international Doyle netted another brace in the 3-0 success over Derby County, after Hunt had opened the scoring.

In Doyle, Reading has the Championship's top scorer and with Stephen and Noel Hunt adding to the mix, United's backline will have to be on top of their game on Saturday.
