Leicester v Blades - team news

Posted on: Mon 22 Oct 2007

United boss Bryan Robson has no fresh injury concerns ahead of his side's trip to the Walkers Stadium to face Gary Megson's Leicester City on Tuesday evening.

On-loan defender Phil Bardsley in expected to continue at right-back after impressing on his debut against Preston North End at Bramall Lane on Saturday.

Robson said: "Phil slotted in very well, he is comfortable on the ball and takes responsibility. It is important he continues to perform for us."

Other than that, Lee Hendrie, Nick Montgomery and Rob Hulse are still short of match fitness, although Robson confirmed possible run outs for two of the three in the reserves.

He indicated: "Monty and Hulse may have a little run for the reserves on Wednesday, which will be pleasing."

In the Leicester camp, Iain Hume will serve a one-match suspension after his sending-off at Scunthorpe on Saturday. Carl Cort or DJ Campbell are the likely candidates to partner Matt Fryatt in attack.

Foxes boss Gary Megson also has slight injury concerns over defenders Gareth McAuley (knee) and Richard Stearman (ankle), with both facing late fitness tests.

Finally, Julio Marco Ferreira could be included in the squad after overcoming hamstring troubles, but Elvis Hammond and Hossein Kaebi are still sidelined.
